The 5140 and 5240 IP Phones provide users with a personal directory of up to 50 personal telephone entries (name and number). Likewise, the 5505 SIP Phone, although the number of entries allowed is approximately 40.
53xx and 69xx IP Phones (excluding 6905 and 6910) and the 5560 IPT feature a Contacts application (called the People application on the 53xx and 5560) that functions as a personal directory.

Access the Personal Directory Phonebook by pressing the Personal Directory key. You can then search for an entry by surname. After selecting the desired entry, press the Dial softkey to initiate the call.
Press the Phonebook Key.
Use the up and down arrows to scroll through the names.
Press TALK to call the person/number.
